# How do I buy $META ?

🔸 There are two ways to buy $META:

a. Via PancakeSwap; or

b. Via [DeFi Assurance Protocol](https://insure.metalkdao.com/) (RECOMMENDED).

🔸 Regardless of whether you purchase $META via PancakeSwap or DeFi Assurance Protocol, 10% tax will be applied for every transaction. The tax will be allocated to the Bounty Program and distributed to members who participate in the program.

🔸 The advantages of buying $META via DeFi Assurance Protocol include: 

a. Guaranteed daily increase in token price, otherwise, 2% of the amount of insured tokens will be compensated if the price fails to increase by 2% on a given day; 

b. The insurance policy will be automatically terminated upon reaching 150% of the value from the time of enrollment. Users will automatically receive the insured tokens and all tokens generated from the claims under the DeFi Assurance Protocol.
